A survivor of domestic abuse, a single mother of two, a character of unflappable optimism, and a woman of unstoppable determination, Amy’s story never fails to inspire. Some laugh. Many cry. But everyone that gets to know Amy Barnes comes to understand the power for change that we all have within ourselves.
Our approach to personal training is based on the idea that a person will be healthy on the inside and out. We understand that this, most likely, is not your first time trying to change your lifestyle to healthier one. Einstein’s definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again, but expecting a different result. IO Fitness’ strategy to change is simple and outlined in IO Fitness’ Four Foundations. IO Fit Camps
IO Fitness Fit Camps combine cardiovascular activities with resistance training in a fun-filled group environment. The boot camp style workouts are fast-paced and challenging but appropriate for all fitness levels. IO Fit Camp is an affordable option for those of you wanting instruction from a personal trainer in the convenience of your own back yard. Designed for groups of 5 or more, they are ideal for groups of family members, neighbors, church members or friends.
Elite Student/Athlete Training
High School and College Student Training is specifically intended for the student-athlete. IO Fitness believes in offering all high school and college students specialized programs in order for the athlete to enhance their individual strength training needs, reducing the potential for injury, and achieving optimum performance in sport specific training.

IO Fitness can integrate your fitness program with your broader wellness initiative – adding value to both. We have managed fitness facilities ranging from small workout rooms to a recreation facility.

Health & Wellness Seminars
Wellness seminars are a common component of corporate wellness programs. Wellness seminars are educational programs and educational activities about a health topic or about the status of their health. Wellness seminars and employee education expenses may include self-help books, wellness seminars and classes. Unlike awareness activities, all employees are not exposed to education activities. Introductory wellness seminars can run from a couple of hours to a couple of days depending on the time that your organization has available and the purpose of the wellness seminar. During wellness seminars, each employee that takes part has the opportunity to develop individual plans for change and to integrate these changes within the overall corporate wellness program. Traditional Dietary Counseling
A. Introductory Dietary Package
A great start to eating better and feeling healthier, this package includes a dietary analysis, initial dietary consultation (60min), follow-up dietary consultation (60min), and a IAO Fitness nutrition & fitness journal.
B. Healthy Eating Makeover
For a more in-depth and comprehensive experience, this package includes a dietary analysis, five (5) full nutrition consultations, four (4) checkpoint phone consultations, and a IAO Fitness nutrition & fitness journal.
C. Full Dietary Consultation-60 minutes
Includes a dietary analysis, meal planning guidelines, grocery lists, and body composition tests (if needed); Identifies plans for overcoming potential roadblocks to success.
